In the role of Business Controller, you are a part of a team responsible for the financial and business controlling of the Global Everris/Amega organization. Your main focus lies in the T&O Region Continental Europe, MEA and Asia, the legal entities in Germany, France, The Netherlands and Belgium including the Supply Chain activity at our two plants - Heerlen and Grobbendonk.

The Business Controller needs to be highly analytical, accurate, supportive and flexible high achiever with the potential to move into positions of increasing responsibility. The right candidate must also possess great organizational skills to do planning and execution of the budget and forecast processes can be done in a systematic and efficient manner. In this function, you will report to the Head of Global Finance T&O and you support mainly the Regional T&O Business Lead of Continental Europe, MEA and Asia but also the Supply Chain organization.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Analysis of month-end results including regular business reviews for key management;
• Coordinate and prepare periodic forecasts, annual budget and 5-year planning;
• Deliver high quality business support, financial reporting and analysis about sales, margins, profitability by product group, customer, regions, brands;
• Execute balance sheet reviews and internal controls;
• Drive business process improvement initiatives;
• Deliver high quality business controlling about Production and Logistics related activities, like CAPEX, product costing trends analysis, inventory;
• Active participation business, IT and financial related projects;
• Drive working capital positions to the optimal situation;
• Other ad-hoc controlling activities within EMEA-APAC part of Global Everris.

Your profile:

• Business Economics / Controlling at (Post)-Bachelor’s level, Master preferred;
• Relevant working experience of 7-10 years in an international and profitability driven company;
• Strong financial and trend analysis skills;
• Solid knowledge of IFRS accounting guidelines and internal control framework;
• Excellent proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint is required;
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP, QAD, Hyperion/HFM, BI a plus;
• Systems aptitude - to efficiently produce reports and therefore spend time on analysis rather than creation of data;   
• Being a self-starter with a pro-active way of working;
• Ability to work independently in the organization;
• Recognized as a trustable source who influences and creates impact;
• Hands on and results oriented, driving the business to a higher level.

Languages: Written and verbal communication skills (Dutch and English, other languages would be considered as a plus) - to communicate analytical information in an appropriate manner to different audiences;

Location: Waardenburg with willingness to travel to other ICL locations
