Sales and Market Development Manager

Job description

In this role you manage, develop and promote the ICL FertilizerpluS products portfolio in Ukraine. Therefore, we are looking for proactive and innovative candidates who can extend the portfolio of new customers and support the agronomic aspects from the technical and legal perspectives. You will also take care of conveying the image and values of the ICL Group Fertilizers, thus a sense of diplomacy and an ability to endure complexity are the keys in this position.

Main responsibilities:

 

Support of the Sales Operations

  • Prepare market analysis (crops, products, logistics, distributors, potential customers competitors);
  • Develop and manage sales in the Ukrainian distribution system;
  • Collect and report all relevant market/customer information;
  • Follow the trends in the market and future trends;
  • Coordinate and execute marketing activities in coordination with distributors;
  • Run technical presentations, discussions with relevant parties on the market;
  • Create and maintain relation with main end users of our products;
  • Follow evaluations and statistics of the market aimed at supporting decision-making;
  • Involvement in all product quality aspects.

Management and promotion of the product portfolio

  • Lead the day to day contacts/cooperation with distribution;
  • Lead the local media planning;
  • Lead local registration of products;
  • Propose and manage an annual promotion budget;
  • Create and adapt Marketing documents in line with the Communication policy of the group in order to support the promotion & sales.

Conveying the image/values of the group

  • Be the first point of contact of ICL with agronomic organization for all technical and agronomical issues;
  • Lead a Public Relations with all type of institutes, authorities, farmer organizations.

 

Profile:

 

  • Very good technical and agronomical basis;
  • Good knowledge of the Agribusiness distribution in Ukraine;
  • Sales capabilities and commercial experience in the fertilizers/ agri inputs;
  • Commercial skills;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good knowledge of IT tools: office software, ERP systems (SAP);
  • Customer relationship skills; 
  • Self-confidence; 
  • Proactive force; 
  • Adaptability. 

 

Languages:  Fluent in Ukrainian and English is a must.
